Denise’s love for creating beautiful spaces was sparked as a child, working alongside her father and grandfather learning about carpentry and construction. From that experience, she discovered her knack for taking old furniture pieces and bringing them to life again through repairs and refinishing. What began as a hobby while completing her degree in college, quickly became a full-time pursuit with the encouragement of family and friends who recognized her talent. She decided to go back to school for design and completed her certification through the New York Institute of Art and Design and then obtained her RIDQC certification. To expeditiously further and hone her skills, she simultaneously started her first business with no-demo cabinet refinishing to include color selection and minor cabinetry enhancements. This quickly evolved to much larger projects involving new kitchen layouts and improved functionality of space requiring all trades and working alongside general contractors. Four years of making beautiful kitchens passed and Denise was ready to take things to the next level with two goals, to deliver quality design, and to develop a structure that would allow design services to be obtainable for anyone seeking it!

Denise discovered during the above mentioned four years that there is a large demographic of homeowners that would love design services, but have a misunderstanding of design being only a “luxury” service with a one-size-fits-all structure, meaning unobtainable for many. Therefore, Denise began her own Design firm breaking the barriers and catering at different levels to help bring anyone’s design concepts to fruition! This can be from a simple color scheme board or room layout for those who need just a little help to get started and expand all the way to a complete new home build.

For the past 18 years, Denise has developed a deep knowledge of “all things design” giving her and her team an intimate understanding allowing for outstanding service. The relationships built with talented and reliable tradespeople is essential in this business. Every contractor, carpenter, plumber, electrician and installer she recommends shares her attention to detail and commitment to quality.
